Software Downloads

To download MAXit Installers, MAXit updates or materials, select a file by name, date or code from the table. All files are encripted and password protected. The password was sent by the Smart Team to your email. All downloads are cybersafe, sent directly from secure Smart Team servers in the USA.

Download Instructions

  1. Select the file in the table by name, code or date.
  2. Left click the link in File Name. The file automatically downloads to your PC PC downloads. Check the location of your Windows Downloads folder.
  3. Find the downloaded .zip file, for example updatemaxit.zip. Use any unzip tool and send the output files to any folder or your \\windows\temp folder. The password to unzip files is shown in the email send by Smart Team.
  4. Move the files to the MAXit folders shown in the User Documentation. Example C:\Program Files (x86)\Maxit for MAXit for Word and MAXit for FrameMaker. PTC Arbortext: \\PTC\Arbortext Editor 8.x\Custom. See User Documentation for sub-folder names.
  5. Delete the downloaded .zip file from your Downloads folder.
