MAXit Checker Description

 How the MAXit Checker works

The SMART MAXit Checker is a technical writing assistant that uses Artificial Intelligence, called Agentic AI, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to simplify complex sentences. The nice-to-know information is removed and the need-to-know is kept. The AI analysis is by paragraph and sentence through a MAXit Token Window. Each token contains information to remove ambiguity and increase accuracy. Color-coded messages show corrections and suggestions for grammar, syntax, style, consistency, legal compliance and valid engineering terminology. A dialog box makes edit-in-place fast and easy. The MAXit Checker can navigate both unstructured and structured data written in .html, .xml, .dita and SGML. The shared dictionaries are ideal for engineering standardization and global collaborative authoring. The results are clear, concise and consistent documentation that improves readability, usability, translation and customer experience.

Companion Digital Tools

The MAXit Checker can connect to Siemens Teamcenter to simplify content that is written in Markdown (MD), a simple document style language. MAXit can understand Markdown commands to support engineering documentation and notes needed to support Digital Twins.

The MAXit for FrameMaker version reads structured text (.xml and .dita) and unstructured text. The program shows suggestions and corrections in a dialog box. The writer clicks a color to insert a correction or edit a suggestion.

MAXit for Microsoft Word

The MAXit for Word version is linked by the Microsoft VSTO API to the Microsoft Word ribbon, shown below. The program reads the Word document and shows suggestions and corrections in a dialog box. The writer clicks a color to insert the correction or edit a suggestion.
